Here it is, another Wednesday. I’m hoping you start to see a pattern with our fantastic burgers!! Pizza burger- sautéed green pepper, red onion, mushroom, black olives, Bacon, mozzarella and marinara on burger. Served on an Italian hoagie Comes with seasoned Parmesan fries

Chicken fried steak burger with tater tumblers. Hamburger patty with Swiss cheese, a slice of chicken fried prime rib on sour dough bread Tumblers served with brown gravy Tonight only so come and get it!!

The announcement of our third Monday night dinner. I’m hesitant to call it a beer dinner because ours is way more than that. At 6:00 we have a local mixologist showing off his newest spiked coconut water. At 6:30 we will start the dinner and have a beer and a wine with each course. Winter Citrus Salad: - mixed greens/ grapefruit segment/ crushed walnut/ dried cranberry/ crumbled goat cheese, mango vinaigrette 2. Brussels - flash fried/ crumbled bacon/ slivered onion/ honey-balsamic vinaigrette 3. Wild Caught Salmon - baked Sockeye salmon filet/ whiskey-apricot glaze/ creamy tomato & spinach risotto 4. Ooey Gooey Butter Cake - fresh macerated strawberries/ powdered sugar

Nights like last night are such a great reminder why we do what we do. So many wonderful people walk through our doors all the time that it is overwhelming. I can say thank you a thousand times and it won’t be enough but I’ll try. Thanks to our guests/friends Thanks to our staff Thanks to our vendors Thanks to my family I have a rule that we are closed on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day and that won’t change. I have also been closed New Year’s Day and close early New Year’s Eve but with New Year’s Eve on Monday we are closed all day. Merry Christmas and happy new year. Hugs Doc

This was our dinner on Monday night. Great times and great food. The pairing with shorts beers and ciders was perfect. Chef Dan is going to prepare another one January 7 with the folks from Alliance beverage. Details to follow

A humbling thank you goes out to the wonderful folks that came out to dinner last evening. We had a nice dinner and a good anniversary celebration but the best part was shinning a little light on a problem that isn’t always talked about, youth homelessness. Two fantastic ladies, Kerrie and Rita, did a wonderful job educating folks in the short visits over dinner. I understand a bit more about what goes on around us now, I was one of many who didn’t grasp the issue as it is today. Through many different circumstances this problem exists and the solution isn’t always visible. A huge thank you goes out to the people who work in the field of helping others at their lowest points and attempting to get them to a better place. Be thankful for what you have, hug the ones you can and give someone a smile it might make the difference in their day. EIO Doc
